Free Harvest

Q3 2024

Objective

Create a logo and packaging system for a gluten free food company.

  • Use a nature inspired color palette
  • Organic and approachable logo
  • Standout in the gluten free market

Solution

Developed a handwritten inspired wordmark and logo system. A natural color palette to support a range of patterns and packaging needs. Pattern system made of a combination of botanical elements and shapes that can be utilized as a repeating pattern or as a layering of different elements for depth.

Food truck exploration and logo

The Free Harvest food truck is the perfect example of how the logo, pattern, and color palette work together to create an delightful, trustworthy, and approachable brand experience.

Pouch packaging

The pouch style packaging is the perfect solution for both dry goods like granola or pasta, and for the frozen take and bake rolls and croissants offered by Free Harvest in the future. Variations in the color palette and graphic elements in the pattern allow for a variety of packaging options, while still creating a recognizable customer experience.

Brand pattern

The base pattern is a combination of botanical organic elements and shapes utilizing the Free Harvest color palette.  The pattern can include all or just some of the graphic elements and colors can rotate to give the variety needed for the full collection of Free Harvest's current and future products.

Additional packaging

In the future Free Harvest would expand to offer meal delivery service. The shipping boxes would be the brand forest green with pattern packing tape bringing customer delight when it arrives at their doorstep. The frozen premade meals would have pattern band wrapping with the meal name and logo on top and the full ingredients list on the bottom.
